• • The environment at Mad Dance House played a big part in me ‘rediscovering’ my love of dance. The support and encouragement at MDH, were a huge influence in my decision to take my dancing seriously and pursue it as a career. I have just graduated from a three year training course in contemporary dance at WAAPA, and I would not have even auditioned had it not been for the confidence, training and support I received from the people at Mad Dance House.
    It is a place that inspires a love of dance for such a wide variety of people and doesn’t discriminate against age, ability or your reasons for wanting dance in your life, be it for fun, fitness or professional pursuits.

Mad Dance House gave me the foundations for a professional career in the arts. With the most rockin’ atmosphere, best teachers and unbelievable family feeling of love and support I moved on to complete a full-time degree at the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) in Melbourne on scholarship. I now work for one of the worlds most inspiring and creative contemporary circuses, which is a fusion of dance and incredible circus feats, Circa. I have the family at Mad to thank for my career progressions and love coming home to Brisbane to visit and jump in on the action.
