Noz

Noz (also known as Nozza or Norwin) originally started Hip Hop classes on a very casual basis. However, now it has grown to become a major part of his life.

Noz turned his casual class into a regular weekly attendance and discovered a new energy, inspiration and drive for dance.  Ever since then he hasn’t stopped dancing and is always trying to find new ways to improve his craft. He believes that even though you are a teacher, you are also still a student.

Noz was a student of Mad Dance House before becoming a member of faculty. He started out taking classes in not only Hip Hop but Ballet also. He has performed in several dance crews, performing at major events and major competitions. Whenever world-renowned choreographers were in town, Noz would always strive to attend these workshops understanding the great opportunity it is to learn from the best in the world.
Noz has a distinct clean style that has had him stand out in many a class and international workshop.

In 2011 he travelled to Los Angeles to live, breath and do DANCE! Undoubtledy some of the best choreographers and dancers reside in LA. Dancing almost 5-6 classes a day for 6 weeks, he was committed to learning newe things  to bring back to Brisbane.

Noz will continue to travel in the future. He doesn’t see an end to dancing in the near future so expect to see him out and about in classes searching for the next spark of inspiration.

When teaching, Noz loves watching people grow and progress within themselves as dancers.  He particularly likes to see  people dance with their own sense of individuality.
Noz lives by the statement that ‘its not about perfection, it’s about own sense of style and individuality’.  Even if it’s not at dance he finds this statement relevant in the aspect of life itself.

Noz enjoys seeing dancers come in and out of MDH and looks forward to seeing you in class whether it be as a student or a teacher.
