Where exactly is MDH?
We are located upstairs above Govinda’s Vegetarian Restaurant. We are directly opposite the entrance to the Myer Centre Car Park on Elizabeth Street. We are part of the Elizabeth Arcade but don’t go INTO the arcade. We are beside it.
What Bus or Train do I catch?
Because we are in the CBD of Brisbane you just need to get into the city. Myer Centre Bus way is across the road. Best Train station is Central.
Where do I park?
Bring your Myer Centre Car Park Ticket to reception and we will validate it for you so you only pay $10 for as long as you want for entry after 1.30pm
After 7pm you can find free ‘on street’ parking.
Do I have to book to attend classes?
No. Majority of our classes are casual. This means that you can start at anytime.
However,there are some classes that are ‘Enrolment Only’ this means that you pay in advance for an 8 week course and you add onto the routine each week.
How old do you have to be?

I have been going to MDH on and off for the last five years. I started with one class a week to eventually every day almost. I was also working full time as a pharmacist.
When it came down do it, Dance won- I gave up most of my pay and lifestyle to pursue my dream of dance. I started to audition for places in 2009 and was successful in securing a place at the Aboriginal Centre of the Performing Arts (ACPA) for their Diploma programme majoring in dance. Since then I have performed at QPAC and the Judith Wright Centre, I have also auditioned for Bangarra Dance Company and spent a week with the prestigious Sydney Dance Company.
I credit Mad Dance House with my success as it has been the classes I attended that have increased my technical skills and has made me stand out in auditions.
For all those beginners out there, I was once in your shoes and am living proof that with enough hard work and commitment you can achieve your goals.
Want to take your dancing more seriously? Now is the time. If you have the thought, please act on it. Our Auditions for our Certificate IV in Dance and Certificate III in Dance Teaching will be in September 2012. The MDH course is the freshest course in Australia.
You can choose to study part time (2 years) or full time (1 year)

1. Get yours basics down in Ballet, Tap, Jazz.
2. Get your strength and flexibility up to speed.
3. Visit MDH and take some casual classes if you have not been before or CALL US for a chat.
