Since 2003, Mad Dance House has offered dance classes to people of all levels, from complete beginners to experienced professionals.
We offer an extensive range of styles, including Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Commercial and a wide range of street dance! Our instructors are industry leaders who will guide you on your journey and connect you with the dance community.
On top of our 60+ open classes each week, Mad Dance House gives back to the community by hosting workshops, awarding grants, and producing shows and events. We also supply entertainment to add that extra magic to your own events!

NEW TO MDH?
INTRO COURSES
If you're brand new to a style, we recommend JOINING an intro course.
Our focus is on teaching you the proper foundations, which is why we have designed courses specifically for new dancers!
Absolutely ZERO prior experience is needed to join these bespoke programs.
Not sure what level you are? All styles have foundations and techniques. If you are unable to name the foundational steps, you will benefit from doing an Intro Course!

IMPULSE is the Mad Dance House Contemporary, Ballet and Jazz student showcase featuring choreography by our esteemed faculty and guest artists. Co-produced by Jacob Watton, this year's show will take you on a journey through a variety of movement disciplines and interpretations, leaving you enriched and inspired.

EDEN ZERK BEGINNER & INT/ADV POP UPS SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26
Eden is in the house and keen to share new sets in these choreo pop ups, only on Saturday 26th of September!
Eden will be teaching a beginner and an int/adv session and will be using this opportunity to dive deeper into her unique style. Only $25 or $20 for Unlimited Members per workshop!

Eden Zerk is a natural performer and powerhouse known for her extraordinary talent and enduring dedication as an acclaimed artist and choreographer. Eden is a versatile dancer whose unique style is a fusion of Urban Hip Hop and R&B which stimulates her creativity, continually pushing boundaries as an artist.Eden’s dedication, love and respect for the hip hop culture at a young age led her to perform on Australia’s Got Talent, captivating audiences nationally and leading on to international recognition after a 6-month scholarship in LA.
Eden spent 4 years living in Canada, building her career with a host of accolades. She has danced on tour with AP DHILLON around North America which featured her journey on the Amazon Prime series ‘Out of this World’ Tour and has taken lead as a Choreographer and Dancer for two of Diljit Dosanjh’s music videos ‘Umbrella’ & ‘Ghost’ and Tatum Nurjannah latest music video ‘Balboa’.

JOIN OUR FLASHMOB FOR MELT FESTIVAL!
Want to perform in Queen Street Mall (and be the talk of the town)?
Mad Dance House is performing a FLASH MOB for Melt Festival, Sunday October 18th at 12:30pm!! Melt Festival is an annual open-access festival of Queer arts and culture staged across Magandjin/Brisbane, Australia. We're stoked to be involved this year!
The routine, choreographed by MDH resident choreographer Jasmine Meakin, will be Beginner level and is open to all performers. Jasmine is preparing something extra special for this occasion, so please mark all scheduled rehearsals carefully and ensure you are available.
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:
1. Saturday 10th of October, 1:30pm-5pm
2. Sunday 11th of October, 9:30am-12pm
3. Sunday 18th of October, 11am-12:30pm (Pre-performance rehearsal)*All rehearsals are at Mad Dance House, 43 Adelaide Street Brisbane City.
PERFORMANCE:
Sunday 18th of October. 12:30pm-12:45pm (Queen Street Mall)This is a performance in support of queer art, artists, allies, icons, ideas and culture. It is also an opportunity to upskill under Jasmine Meakin's experienced direction. Work on choreography, dynamics, textures, formations and performance techniques over 7.5 hours of mentorship!

Intro Courses for Absolute Beginners - Next Term Starts Soon!
WE RECOMMEND NEW DANCERS COMPLETE AN INTRO COURSE AT LEAST ONCE TO BUILD ESSENTIAL FOUNDATIONS!
Intro Courses are bespoke 6-week programs designed to teach you the basics of a style in a comfortable and supported environment. We are offering 10 different styles this term, including some new additions in Popping, Afro Fusion and Waacking.
