On top of our 50+ classes each week, Mad Dance House gives back to the community by hosting workshops, awarding grants, and producing shows and events. We also supply entertainment to add that extra magic to your own events!

If you're brand new to a dance style, we recommend signing up for an intro course.
At Mad Dance House, our focus is on teaching you the proper foundations, which is why we have deSIGNED THESE courses specifically for NEW DANCERS!
If you have no prior experience - we prefer you do a 6 or 8 week Intro Course. The aim is that you will then be able to participate in our 'Beginner' level classes.
Not sure what level you are? All styles have foundations and techniques. If you are unable to name the foundational steps, you will probably benefit from doing an Intro Course!

The MDH Residency and Grant is back and this one is designed for YOU! If you have existing work or have a vision you want to create, we want to hear it! This grant will award one successful applicant $3000 and 3 weeks of exclusive studio hire.

HEELS WORKSHOP w/ AMY ZHANG

Amy is an in-demand movement director, choreographer and casting director based in Sydney. Her work spans across film, TV, theatre and live performance.
Through her uniquely diverse movement, Amy has caught the eye of many, working for the likes of Rita Ora, The Veronicas, Jaguar Jonze, Montaigne and PNAU PNAU and has had her work featured in major campaigns for brands like Hermes, Cartier, Google, Nike and Calvin Klein.
Most recently, Amy has just stepped off working alongside Stephanie Klemons, the associate and supervising choreographer and Brendan Yeates, the international associate dance supervisor, on Hamilton the Musical.
Amy is one of the primary heels educators in Sydney, having trained with the likes of Dana Foglia (LA), Saki Mugler (NYC), Solundy (NYC) and Mitsuki Betty (TOKYO). Her classes are all about helping you feel strong and confident in a heel.
Amy is in Brisbane developing her work "Gameboy" for DANCE24 Festival May 22-June 1 in West Village. Don't miss this opportunity to dance with her!
